About this design:

I am still enjoying trying different techniques and expanding my metal working skills. For this piece, I fabricated the large brass circles by cutting, punching, sanding, hammering, dapping and using a patina solution to "age" the brass.

Hand fabricated brass disks, pre-fabricated gold-tone links, brass jump rings, gold-tone toggle clasp.

This is fantastic, have a question, what kind of patina are you using, I find brass very hard to do with LOS, torching helps, but I get more of the Vintaj color with it, you pieces look amazing :D

    This bracelet is just awesome!!

Asia I don’t do metal work…yet. But I got the book Rustic Wrappings, which is all about using patina. There is a chart for the metals. LOS is “not” checked for brass. Heat, Ammonia Fumes, Ammonia Salt Water, Vinegar Salt Water & Potato Chips (I’m eating those…sorry) are. Potato Chip actually looks pretty cool too!

impressive results!…i’m always awed by those of you who create a design from wo-to-go!..most industrious & very the punched squares particularly (does it weaken the metal disc?)

I used Bead Buddy patina solution and soaked the sanded, textured disks overnight.

I have not tried the torch method yet but I have seen some very cool demos and want to try that too!
