Lovely Impression

About this design:

This is a most beautiful piece. i saw the Impression Jasper Pillow(which I used as the button) and then I used 6MM Impression Jasper Gemstones with a tan 1.5 Round Leather cord. My very favorite now.

3 Wrap bracelet using the ladder stitch. I do not do the ladder stitch like the one on this site I use KO thread which I do not use a needle . I used tan leather 1.5 cord with 1 4MM bead to start and then continued with 6MM Impression Jasper Gemstones.

I saw these links here as new arrivals the other day but couldn’t think of how I would use them. What a great idea! Beautiful Wrap!

Excellent use of the link! Gives the bracelet a much more rustic and cohesive look.

Thanks for the useful info Lisa. What is KO thread and how do you work without a needle???

    Lisa LaBarre-Kurz says:

KO thread is used without a needle because of the stiffness of it. At Lima beads i believe the Nymo D is similiar, but check with Kevin or Kate first. So I thread the length of the leather cord along with the length of the KO thread that is needed for each wrap and the button I will use as the closure, I then take that and tie is all in knot. So I am left with the same amt of thread on either side of the leather cord. I take the tread and come up into the middle of the cord with the left side of thread and wrap it about 3 times then I do the same with the other side. I come up through the middle with both threads and bead on a bead. I must admit that sometimes the hole is very small on the 4MM gemstones so I end up using a needle on wither side of the thread. This is why my beads have only one strand of thread around the leather ford. I hope you have understood my explanation. Thank you all for your nice compliments. Lisa LaBarre-Kurz
