Tiedye Butterfly Redo

About this design:

Well, this is the redo. Necklace with yellow beads vs. turquoise. I traded the berry colored lucite for tiedye swirl beads, and the yellow lucite for turquoise Czech glass. Pics of both versions are here to see. I really like the turquoise version. The toggle is still a bit of a problem, but easily remedied once I decide what to do with it!

Brass butterfly and flower blanks, patinas, Czech glass, tiedye swirl beads, brass toggle.

What is Beads in the Mail??? I get confused everytime you say that.
I like the yellow but maybe more turquoise…
Your patina work is always excellent.

Beads in the mail is a monthly bead club by Thed Beadin’ Path. They ship an assortment of beads at the beginning of the month for a small price. Warm/Frosty Springs were made w/beads in the mail.

I was thinking more turquoise, too! I also have some dyed swirly beads that are similar to the tiedye colors.

I like how the patina turned out…it was difficult working asll 4 pieces at once.

Love your patina work! I just had a thought: what if you made the yellow bead part detachable so you could swap out different color strands as your mood wanted? Turquoise today, yellow tomorrow…. you get the idea. :)

    Becky! How are you?

I totally get the idea…but I already redid. I like the new version so much better! I had other plans for those yellow beads anyway…

Love your patinas! The yellow beads are pretty, but I think a cooler color (mint, turquoise) would emphasize the patina pieces.
