About this design:

Just trying to use some beads I have had around for a long time. This time I had to figure out what to do with that newsprint jasper from LB, that I've had for over 2 years. This is what I came up with. Not sure if it's the picture that is making it washed out, or should redo the whole thing again. Looks bright in real. The newsprint jasper doesn't even show that green color that is like the serpentine in it. Hmmm.

Newsprint jasper, rough cut spinel nuggets, Serpentine rounds and heishi, black and lime lava rock, two czech glass black beads, silver bead caps, beads, jump rings and clasp, unknown gray with black squiggles stone.

WOW!!! I’ve seen the newsprint jasper but never been impressed. Now I am!!! Don’t touch a thing. It’s well balanced in color and texture. :)

Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments.

Deb the newsprint jasper looks fantastic in real, just kinda hard to work around such big pieces. They are now in the clearance section.

Julie thanks for the vote of confidence! I think it is just the picture fading them out, cause they are much more vibrant in real.

Thanks Asia and Laud! I forgot to mention that the rock the necklace is on is a pyrite rock. Those are little chunks of pyrite in the holes.
