Bella Chick, great use of the FPP!! TheRed Jasper & Carnelian really add depth to the plain brown. And it doesn’t look like a 4th grade project, I really like your idea and execution.

Very cool! Definitely a conversation piece as mentioned. I like it a lot. I received some of those peach pits too, but my dog got a hold of them. They have become his new chewing toy.

This is a great design, Bella Chick! It’s very fun and original, and you used the perfect stones with those pits! :D I keep looking at the ones I have and wondering just what to do with them. I’ve had a few ideas, but haven’t really tried anything yet. After seeing your success with them, maybe I’ll see what I can do! ;)

I will never say “well that’s the pits” any longer! So clever of you!

Well, at least we’ve had a good laugh! It has been a struggle figuring out what to do with them! A dog toy is perfect as long as they don’t choke on them! Too funny! We do have a peach festival in nearby Gaffney, SC…surely a local would buy it?!? We have to take advantage of FREE Beads?!? Wh ever created these things in the first place? (pit beads)

Cheryl, what a great idea for using these FPP! Love the design and mix of stones! :D Very clever! I’m sure you are right about it selling well near you. :D

I know that Elaine/Belly Chick posted a design here of a necklace incorporating the infamous FPP. It’s really pretty, too!

Very cool! (I know Lily already said that, but it was my first impression!) I have TWO strings of peach pits that I have no idea what to do with. Bella Chick, I bet some tourist at the peach festival would just love your necklace!

Thanks, Elaine…I had a few ladies arguing over who wanted it the most…sold it…than my daughter-in-law asked me a few weeks later where the pit set was…she was so sad when it sold…I was joking about it earlier with her, and she had been too embarrassed at the time to tell me how much she wanted it! So I will soon have a peach pit necklace as a custom design for her…never would have thought anyone would want it…but it has also been a good conversation starter! BTW…I saw and admired your design as well!
