Gathered Waves

About this design:

This is my entry for the Vintaj Design Challenge "Ocean Spray," which will be voted on coming up! It involved custom mixing of patinas for the chain, twisting wire to make Headpins for the pearls, and a lot of time choosing the components. All metal is Vintaj Natural Brass, and the colors are all hand applied.

Vintaj Natural Brass chain and components, Metallic Blue Freshwater Pearls, Larimar Rounds in varying sizes,Larimar Teardrop Briolette, Aquamarine Rounds and Teardrop, Faceted Amazonite Teardrop, Vintaj Patinas, Amaco Rub N Buff in Patina, and Viscose Silk in two colors which I braided together.

It looks really cool but I’d love to see more detail. Your manikin is awesome but either its distracting from the necklace or the picture is too far away. Looks like there are some cool elements there…

Thanks! My fiancé’s mama took the photo. The contest only allows one picture for the entry, but if I can, I’ll take a few more to upload on here. =^__^=

Confusing photo, would like to see more detail of the necklace.

I’d like to see a better photo as well. If you haven’t submitted to the contest yet, you may want to try a different background. The mannikin is cool, but it is too much of a distraction from your beautiful piece of jewelry!
