Infinity Trinity

About this design:

This is the design I submitted to the Vintaj "Ocean Surf" challenge. Voting starts Monday, 8th. There are 4 of us LBers in the challenge this month. Way to go LB chickies!

"The first step in creating this bracelet was to twist the Eternity Garden Ring into an Infinity Loop. I like the combined symbolism of Eternity and Infinity. I colored it with gilder paste in Patina and German Silver to make it stand out from the other pieces. I reshaped three of the 67mm Creative Hoops and made the bracelets using recycled glass and lots of tiny spirals made from brass Parawire in 18 and 24 gauges. I linked all three bracelets to the Infinity Loop to signify their interconnectedness. The blue bracelet represents the ocean in stormy weather so it features a piece of driftwood with African Bronze guilder paste. The green bracelet is for the peaceful ocean and it includes a dangle made from a piece of beach glass that I found in my hometown of Satellite Beach, FL, in the mid 70s. The teal bracelet reflects the continuous circular movement of the ocean through the glass rings and the brass Scrollwork connectors colored with Patina guilder paste. The Starfish charm reminds me of the life sustaining forces of the Infinite and Eternal ocean. All three bracelets include white recycled glass to symbolize both the whitecaps of the waves as they crash onto the beach and the bubbly foam that remains on the shore as they recede back into the ocean."

LOTS of Vintaj components. The 67mm creative hoops are perfect for an open bangle. :) LOTS of recycled glass and one piece of authentic 1970s beach glass.

Geez Julie…this is such an intricate piece (pieces?). Your wirework is incredible. Love the piece of beach glass included, the shape and color reminds me of a Churchill swimfin, actually a bodyboarding fin.

This is a totally fabulous creation, Julie. I do wish you could find a way to get more light in your photos, though – - – they don’t do justice to the details of your jewelry.
