African Amethyst

About this design:

This is my first attempt at stringing multiple strands into bead cones. The starting point was the African paper bead and it took me a long time to decide exactly how to use it - - - which led to the bead cones. Finished length 24 inches.

From Lima Beads: African Paper (purple, pink, w/ white) Bicone 20x21-22mm Other Sources: Various size 8 amethyst seed beads (my mix), 8x9mm fluted amethyst luster Czech beads, 8mm matte light amethyst Czech druks, with silver-plated bead cones and trigger clasp.

Well, I will confess that those paper beads turned out to be way bigger than I expected. My brain still can’t do metric, and looking at the rulers doesn’t seem to help – - -

are these paper beads sold here already made? or did you make the paper bead yourself – I love it — I started doing paper after watching a youtube video LOL then I ripped apart all the mailbox stuffing advertisements and went nuts – no more junk mail – it’s BEAD MAIL LOL – i have BOXES of them in all colors – but I LOVE THESE COLORS in this necklace = great job with the focal color
