Black Birds Garden

About this design:

Just playing around in my stash and found the two floral lampwork beads, then I was off and searching for other goodies to go with. Found two yellow swirl lampwork beads my friend Cindy made in yellow. Also found the paper beads from Lima, which have these faint yellow rings in them along with red.

First bracelet- Magnesite dyed red and yellow, paper beads, Cinnabar, antique silver spacers and clasp. Second bracelet- Lampwork floral and yellow swirl beads, Red wood discs, Enameled silver flower beads in red and yellow, red wood flower spacer, gunmetal jump rings, spacers and clasp, seed beads, black bird and ladybug charm.

These are dazzling! I never would have thought of those colors together but Wow! do you make it work. I like how you placed the large jump rings in between the red saucer beads. I’m going to have to try that.

    Thank you so much!

Not sure I like the way the sunlight has made the yellow color look. They are more vibrant then the picture is making them out to be.

The colors and shapes caught my eye immediately. It’s really hard to do BRIGHT without going too far, but you succeeded. I definitely get a sense of garden even though you didn’t use a lot of obviously floral beads. Great job!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments!

They are bright and bold, but so much fun to wear. The jump rings bouncing off the wood beads make a wonderful sound. I also wore them for a couple of days to see if they needed any tweeking, and the one with the charms does. So I will be working on that.
