Wow Becky, this is super cool! How did you attach the prehnite? Did you wrap the leather first then come back and attach the knotted strands of prehnite? In your famous words.. “I’m so gonna steal this!” ;)

Love your experiment, Becky ! Like Angela, I keep looking at this and trying how to figure out how you did it – - could you share some instructions ?? This is totally intriguing and very classy, too !

:) I will do another one and try to take pics for instructions as I go. Fair enough? It took me 3 tries and some wasted linen but I do like the method and it isn’t that hard. Then steal away! :)

I knotted the strands of prehnite first–all as one piece with a fold at half. Then I wrapped the leather but I wrapped around the prehnite as I went for a uniform and stronger attachment. I will show you. :)

Strong and yet beautiful. Those are gorgeous stones, and I love the clasp, too. Like the others, your construction method eludes me, but I like that fact–I keep coming back to study some more.

in awe of your intricate workings, Becky!….& love the colour combo & metal button & your setting(silvered timber & nice geranium!)…are the two-holed seed beads decorative or functional?

franny~ superduo seed beads are both–they hold the waxed linen taut and in place while you braid and initially I added them for looks. :)
