Tribal ladder

About this design:

I love Tibetan agate beads and wanted to do something different with them. I oxidized some sterling silver chain and other components (all sterling silver) and wire wrapped 5 Tibetan agate tube beads to the chain in a ladder formation. I finished off the ends of the chain with plain agate rondelles. This is a long necklace to just put over your head so there is no clasp.

What a clever idea! Love it! I have a bunch of different sizes in Tibetan agate beads that have been around long enough to grow moss! I may play around with your idea and see what happens. Thanks for posting the photo and info. :D

I kept thinking about your design and I just love the simplicity of it. The beads are the focus as they should be because of their uniqueness.
I have these lovely tube beads and couldn’t figure out a way to use them and I borrowed your ladder idea. I hope you don’t mind, but I just love how it turned out. Let me know what you think.
