Tequila Sunrise

About this design:

This has been the year I discovered teardrops & briolettes. This is a simple design, but I love it! The orange teardrop started out white, I think it's snow quartz. It came in an assortment bag, so I'm not sure. I soaked it in food coloring & sprayed it w/acrylic sealer & ta-da!

Snow quartz teardrop, Celestial crystal Amber, red teardrops, gold findings, Swarovski fire opal & siam bicones

Oh wow! What a wonderful idea! Never would have thought to try to change the color of a stone. It came out wonderfully and the color adds much more to your necklace than white would have. Well done!

Very pretty, for the fall season.I love a simple design..especially with brios. Your wraps are great as well. Dyeing that bead was really creative of you.
PS..How scrumptious is Swarv. Fire Opal? It’s one of my fav colors

I’ve never tried it w/any other stone, but the snow quartz seemed rather porous so I gave it a shot!
