About this design:

I just love labradorite with it's misty gray hues but then gives off an occasional flash of electric blue. It's like when you think you've seen a ghost, that flash in an instant and then it's gone. I've paired it with faceted pyrite and some ghostly frosted Czech glass that has the same blue flash. Well of course the ghost fit right in.

Labradorite faceted ovals and heishis, pyrite, Czech glass, seed beads, TierraCast ghost charm and handmade clasp.

What a great piece! The colors are great…as if the ghost is floating on a grey mist. Your wirework is fabulous!

It looks very ethereal…and like little fog clouds. Love the little ghost. That clasp is gorgeous especially. I cannot seem to get the wire to bend prettily like that..sigh.

Your picture is the first I’ve seen that captures the inner “flash” of Labradorite. Great choice to accent the adorable ghost! Love the clasp and your wraps are just awesome!!

Thank you all so much! It’s always great to hear all of your wonderful comments.

I like your descriptor Deb “ethereal”. That’s a good one for this. Keep working that wire, it took me a lot of practice and patience. You already make such pretty wireworked pieces!

Thanks too Gail! I’m glad you appreciate how difficult it is to photograph labradorite. I had to keep fiddling with each one to point their flash toward the camera.

You;re so right about Labradorite. The blue flash does take you by surprise, and then goes away. It only comes out when it wants to. It’s such an interesting stone.all the other beads compliment it so well, and the Ghostie charm is great!
    (Who ya gonna call)?? ;)

I’m so glad you all like it even though it is not as colorful as most designs here. I sort of like that though, because it’s neutrality makes it very versatile (except for the ghost of course). ;)
I’ll probably just remove it after Halloween.

LOL Nancy MC! I love that movie!
