When Less is More

About this design:

A round about decision to keep this necklace design very simple and let the stones speak for themselves. Their impact is increased because they are aligned so closely without interruption. I choose small dimpled and earthy metal spacers to put some breathing room between the stones.

You made the perfect choice to showcase these gorgeous agates. I love how you broke it up a bit with the one ornate bead.

Fabulous! The off center silver round adds just a spark of “different” and is the perfect accent. :)

I agree with all the other ladies these are awsome stones and you did right by letting them do the talking!

Yep, amazing. Would definitely wear it. Myself, I’ve so far mostly avoided flat shapes, they seem such a challenge to make into anything wearable — having seen this, I might have to reconsider!

This is a beautiful work of art!! To me it has an industrial look, if that makes sense. Me personally, I love this one and than I would make one and add nuts (as in nuts and bolts) maybe in copper and some other things for an industrial but not quite steampunkt. Great job!!!

Where would I find the polished agate slices? Since my cancer is in remission now, would like to try something new. Love the look of the necklace.

I purchased these stones at a local shop. So I’m not sure if you tried to search on line for agate slices? Lovely to hear that you are well enough to get back to making some jewelry. Best wishes!
