About this design:

It's all about upcoming festivities. I love the way it sparkles. I was inspired by my other piece party (which I have sold) to make another pretty-pretty piece.

LB recycled blue glass beads, a few tourmaline beads, a few tiny amethyst drops, crystal, silver beads and silver chain.

Wow Judy, I really like this one! Such cool blues. They go great with the tourmaline and more blingy glass. I would never have thought of using the recycled glass in this way, but I love it! I was just about to place an order (literally) but now I’m going to have to add some of these nuggets. ;)
    Also congrats on your sale!

I really like this one too. Recycled glass is stuck in my mind as a summertime kind of stone but you’ve certainly upped it several notches. It looks very much ready for a party here and not a beach party either. Great job!

Thanks for your kind comments. With reference to the recycled glass – I think it’s great stuff – ignorance is bliss it never occurred to me that it was more of a summer thing. The price of gems being what it is I have a new-found appreciation for glass beads in general.

Judy, this is a striking piece. I love the soft blue glass of course. I think you’ve used just the right sprinkle of crystals and real stones to make it more interesting. I wear blue in winter to make me forget the fact that it’s a zillion degrees below zero,on some days. ;)

Well Judy, you may have solved a dilemma! I just ordered a strand of the light sapphire recycled glass to see if the blue is the right shade for my stepdaughters wedding colors. We’ve got a dark sapphire Czech glass that’s good but I have about 10 shades of light blue, none of which she likes. Never would have thought to try this if it weren’t for your necklace!! :-)

giving glass a lot of CLASS, Judy!….the mellow frostiness of the blue glass is perfect for winter & very seasonal with colourful & sparkly highlights!…luvly!!

I love the mix of this! Always a recycled glass fan but never thought to mix it up with so much sparkling! Just in time for the holidays, too!
