Pearly Girl

About this design:

Here a few more leather bracelets I've been experimenting with this week. I didn't order enough of the larger TierraCast barrels for crimping the 2mm cord so the first bracelet is using the smaller barrel with 1.5mm cord. It worked great!

Large hole pearls, TierraCast beads and barrels, 2mm and 1.5mm leather cord, bronzite cubes from LB.

Yea these are great! And, I don’t get it. I thought these were just coil knots until I looked closely. Where the heck are the ends?? There’s something else going on here isn’t there?? Very nicely done!!

Thanks Gembeans, Doktordesigns and Esmithdesigns! So glad you like them.
Gembeans, you are quite observant. There is no end to hide on the knots because the middle cord makes all the coils and continues through the design. Here is the link to a tutorial for this type of knot
If you have any questions, I’d be glad to answer them. :)

Thanks for the info! Last night I was thinking… was that just an overhand knot, no that couldn’t have been. Needless to say these bracelets are so beautiful they have been haunting me! I was taking one more look and getting out my macrame supplies today. You saved me with the tutorial!
