Fluorite Ginko

About this design:

Made for my "Mom away from home" for Christmas. She loves purple, and really liked a necklace I did back before I was in college (years and years ago), but I couldn't find a pendant remotely similar to it even after a week of searching. So I found this lovely fluorite ginko leaf instead, and matched it with some fluorite rondelles. More info on my blog,

LOVE the ginkgo leaf! So unique.. and the fluorite you accented with just adds to it! I really love this! May I ask where you got the ginkgo leaf? Did they have different gemstone ginkgo leafs? :D

@ SweetBirchDesigns-Jess: I bought a trio set of fluorite ginko leaf pendants from a favored seller on e-bay. I still have the really big one and one that looks very much like the one I used for this piece left. I have four places / people I buy from on a regular basis: Justinstones (ebay, where I got the ginko), Lima Beads,, and Von’s in West Lafayette, Indiana, just off Purdue University campus.
