Stamped Pendants

About this design:

I've ventured into doing stamped PC pendants and I am enjoying it! The letters/numbers aren't perfectly lined up, but I like the rustic look...what do you think??

Polymer clay, metal stamps, acrylic paint and sealer, glass beads, antique gold jumprings and Artistic wire.

I love the rustic look of these pendants! The colors of each piece are very pretty. What type of sealer do you prefer to use on PC? (I’ve never done PC, but hope to try it someday) :)

Love the rustic look too! Such a cool idea! They actually look like ceramic focals! :D I finally ordered some metal alphabet stamps too but they aren’t supposed to be here till next week! :(

Thanks Lois and Jess….LOIS–I use just a plain old acrylic sealer in gloss finish. I have never had any problems with it. JESS–Have fun with the stamps…I sure am! LOL

Cool! I agree with Jess, they do look like they’re ceramic.

Looks like a fun technique! And these are just perfect, suitably rustic — they shouldn’t be too straight, then they’d lose their charm.

WOW – love those beads. I need to learn how to do this. I bought some ceramic pieces, dropped them on the floor and broke them. Polymer clay is just lighter and stronger and these look exactly like ceramic pieces. How do you get the mottled look? Is that paint or metallic powder?
