Copper Field

About this design:

For some reason this Patricia Healy button just makes me smile. Soooo, what better use for it than one of my favorite bracelet styles! It's relaxing to put together and I love the pattern the jump rings make. The seed beads in this particular bracelet are actually a much softer color than the photo depicts. They really don't resemble peas at all! :-/

PH copper button, rust waxed linen, TOHO opaque ultra luster green hybrid seed beads (all LB), closed copper jump rings.

So pretty Gail! I too like this style but I never seem to have the right size jump rings and seed beads to make a whole bracelet.

Asia, it took me a minute to figure out who you were talking about. I always think of this as Peggy’s design since she was the one who shared the tutorial but then it dawned on me that GG was the person who actually made it! :-/

yes it def. is GG girls tutorial, I think I mentioned that at the time of my submission.

may I ask what size jump rings you used? I’m guessing the seed beads are 2-3mm?

Peggy, The jump rings are 5mm closed jump rings (which makes the assembly a tad faster) and the seed beads are 6/0 which generally run 3-4mm.

Gorgeous Gail! Where did you get the small closed jumprings? I tried this type of bracelet before and mine just looked *ick*! The colors are fantastic! :D

Jess-I bought the closed jump rings at a little tiny web store called “Finedings” (note the “e”, it isn’t a typo!). They don’t have much but they have fabulous prices! I know what you mean about the “ick” factor. I’ve tried this design with 22ga jump rings and they were waaaay too thin for the style.

Thanks Gail! I will have to check it out! The smaller closed jump rings are hard to find…maybe I just haven’t been looking in the right place! :D
