Swirly Rings

About this design:

Happy New Year, LB Friends!
I'm practicing some swirls on artistic wire rings for a high school girls slumber party tomorrow night.
(I'm chaperoning…yeah, me!)
Thinking the rings would be fun to teach.
The best part is everyone is bringing something CHOCOLATE to share!

Beautiful — and inspiring! People have been asking if I don’t do rings, an so far the answer has been “not yet”, but maybe… having seen these! What do you bend them around, any old cylinder, or that special metal thingy which you can hammer on? :-)

Thanks so much, glad you like these rings.
The anti tarnish silver wire is nice and malleable for making these.
I do use a steel ring mandrel and lightly pound it with a rubber mallet to work harden the wire once it’s formed.
You could use wooden dowels or even large marker pens to form the ring.
p.s. I learned some wire ring skills watching youtube videos.
    Google ‘wire ring tutorial’.
