At The Bracelet Bar.

About this design:

Could you imagine a real Bracelet Bar. I'd like one pearl bracelet, with a twist. Make it a double.

Anyway these are 2 bracelets for Granny/Nancy. She sent the stuff way before Christmas. Then a friend sent me some destash items and I got overwhelmed trying to organize and made my stuff totally unworkable. Then my cats organized everything for me...yea that was a mess that took several days to just pick up much less get back in the right place. Lesson learned: Do not leave design trays with projects in progress out within 2 miles of cats!!

Remember the last litter of sicky babies. Here they are all grown up in the window with Mousey & Butter Ball.

1) Ceramic Bracelet Bar, Labradorite, czech glass rondells, faceted rondells, swarovski crystal, czech flower, bronze crystal, brass bird, bead caps, hook clasp, jump rings. 2) Ceramic Bracelet Bar, jade rounds, czech rondells, czech round, czech flower, czech piggy, copper spacer beads, bead caps, toggle clasp, jump rings, chain.

The first bracelet looks like the jade does not match the czech glass… does!!

WOW, these are fabulous. Really loving the copper one. Having cats, I know exactly what you mean. But, what adorable furry babies you have.

These are both so gorgeous, Deb! I especially love the turquoise one! Where did you get that little bird charm? It’s so adorable, as are you little bundles of fluff!

  4. Gail Layne
    Gail Layne says:

Oh. My. Goodness! I am soooo lusting after the blue one! The focals alone are drool worthy but the color accents on both of them just bring the bracelet bars to life!

My, how the fur babies have grown! They are, of course, adorable! Sorry for your bead explosion. I feel for you. I’ve had that happen on a much smaller scale.

Thank you KatsAllThat and Wanda. I kinda prefer the copper one also.

Nancy sent that little bird charm in a prior batch of beads. I have 2 silver ones I got at Walmart in the pandora look alike beads.

Don’t know why he’s upside down though??

Lol Gail your cat can defy gravity also I see!!
Yea my cats spilled 3 design trayd with projects and beads, 2 shallow trays with assorted beads and a small box with a loose lid. It was a disaster!!

Thank you Gail. I appreciate it.

These are just beautiful! The designs are brilliant.

One of my cats likes the stringing material and wire, and one loves to bat the beads around. They will both sit in my bead cases and boxes when I look the other way.

LOVE, LOVE the coppery one, your kitties are all so grown up, but still adorable :D

I think the copper one is “my” favorite one as well. I’d like one for my granddaughter or my daughter-in-law but her birthday is months away — my granddaughter’s is in April.

It will depend on the fit. I have another bar. Its a lighter shade of blue green. I also have one that is brass.

I finally got back to making jewelry. I have 2 pieces I had to trash for now. Things just didn’t jive. But now I have a feldspeth and czech bracelet done except for the 2nd crimp bead.

I’ve got a necklace almost designed, its time to bite the bullet and start stringing (I’m not a wrapper. I’ve got semi-prec gems that I’m not remembering the name along with many forms of gorgeous Czech.

I’ve had these for years – some of it – I hope these come together as I don’t want to get discouraged again. Although I know many of you have confessed to taking things apart many times before you got them the way you really wanted.

I’ve got a ton of simple jobs like just adding a chain to a pendant and earwires to small dangles. Those don’t really count.

Anyway, thank you so much Deb for dealing with the cat issues and still managing to put together two “really cool” bracelets for me. My cats have been known to destroy my sorting process of 15 years plus paperwork fromm time to time. I’m getting better at preventing that now.

Teddy joins in on their storming the bastille routines. Sometimes it sounds more like a rumble rather than a small herd of horses.

Its cool that these bracelets are well liked here. When I remember which shop I got these bracelet bars from, I’ll post the name here. Jess makes really cool everything.

Thank you everyone for all the compliments. I really appreciate it. Like Wanda I have been in a design slump made even worse by the extremely disorganized mess that my jewelry supplies has become. I’m working on getting it fixed though.

Fabulous bracelets. You really take pains to get just the right findings and stones to work.
You can tell the cats were nervous wrecks after being bad. Look how hard it is for them to relax..LOL

Both of these pieces are beautiful Deb. I think I like the blue one best. Love your kitty pic too! Our latest adoptee “Aspen”, looks like he could be their brother!

  24. Granny Nancy

The cuffs came from CapturedMoments on Etsy.

And yes Deb those kitties are just absolutely adorable and if I picked up one I’d have to pick them all up. I’d lie on the floor with all of them.

LOVE the bracelets and LOVE the cat pile! I have 4 cats, but only one jumps up on my beading table, and then she sits down right in the middle of my mess with her face about an inch away from where I’m beading. It’s so cute, I can’t push her away!

  26. Laud
    Laud says:

    Lovely bracelets!

Clutter…yikes. I tend to get design-slumpy when I have too much stuff out; sort of clutters up the mind. When I’m not set on an idea or even when I don’t want to fiddle with a particular color or technique, I bag what I’ve assembled and put in a round-toit container. I have another tub that’s just to-be-filed stuff. (Clearing the tub can be an evening’s work, but doing it all at once is much easier than working one piece at a time.)

As for the cats, um, you’re on your own. We have a puppy in the house now. She’s fenced out of my work room. Happily, dogs can’t climb!

  27. Deb Harding
    Deb Harding says:

Hi everybody!! Thanks once again for all the complments. Eeka Mouse…look at the cat pile again…*four* bodies and two heads. And you know they are all related Becky!!
Thanks Nancy for the shop name, now I can check to see if I favorited that one.
Laud I have about 5 of those cheap little felty feeling design trays. I sometimes leave stuff on them when I get stumped or I have to work on something more urgent…like a gift. When I reorganized (into a mess) I put them on a shelf with no back. The cats climbed through that way. I’m building a new book case with DOORS!!!

I thought I commented on these but guess not. LOVE them, so playful and you’ve done such a wonderful job combining the perfect components for both

Yes, beautiful bracelets, wonderfully fluffy cats and about messy tables: I’m with you all there! Should do something to reorganize, soon… No cats or dogs here, but rather big kids, who think my pliers are toys to use for operating dolls!! One of my best disappeared for MONTHS last spring!
