Thanks so much everyone…you made my day! GAIL–I can’t really explain how I do it, I guess it’s all due to my being a watercolor artist; I just know what looks and feels right to me. The key, I think, is–just keep experimenting and trying. Eventually you’ll find what works for you!

Can I ask, what kind of sealer you girls use? :)

  12. Asia
    Asia says:

Frida, I use Sculpey sealers or PymII , on the European market there is a Fimo sealer, you can also use waxes, hope this helps :D

Frida…..I use a regular gloss acrylic sealer. I have used that for years and it works well. Plus, it’s less expensive than others. I get it at Michael’s.

Thank you ladies :D I have started to try my acrylic sealers, though I have one that keeps sticky… One other thing I intend to use is embossing powder :)

Asia-inspired, but different! The watercolor artist certainly shines through. Asia, if you see this: you mention Fimo sealer — does that mean the poly clay you use corresponds the European Fimo clay? I sort of figured so, but haven’t dug deeper into it.
