About this design:

Loved the ceramic beads from Happy Fallout but since they're pretty simplistic, I thought the design should be too. The beads are on beading wire as the holes in the Turquoise are tiny! The knots hide the crimps. The "button" is actually another bead that was drilled out to fit the double cord and the beads with the bead caps are handmade in Tibet out of shell. (really good sale!) So what do you think? Is it too simple??

Ceramic beads from Happy Fallout, Chalk Turquoise, Tibetan shell beads, Leather Lace and Sari Silk from LB.

Not at all too simplistic. I think a more complicated design would have overpowered the natural/rustic look of these beads. I think it is gorgeous!

Oooooh, went right into my favorites too! Those ceramic beads are absolutely wonderful and should take center stage. I agree with Deb, in a more complicated design, the beads might get lost and not have the powerful impact they do here. The composition is very good–I love it!

I love this! The colors are wonderfully earthy–they need to shine all thier own–they would get lost in a more intricate and varied design. The leather cord really makes it–as it compliments the colors of the bead. Great design Gail!

I saw this several days (a couple, 3?) ago, but wasn’t signed on to comment. I love it, the ceramic and the colors and the ‘rough’ way it looks

Saw your comment about a close-up of the Sesame necklace. At the moment the necklace is ‘hiding’; will post pic when I find it
