About this design:

I've been playing with polymer clay. I've decided I can probably make some of the "basics" instead of buying them. And it's actually fun now that I'm getting used to it. :)
I used cream, beige, and tan for my most recent attempt. I've always liked dots as an accent... so I made lots.
In the last pic, I'm still in the experimental stage, so I tried lots of different types of textures... and several color washes. I really like the brown color wash on the neutral polyclays. I am really impressed with the dark green in the round pieces. I need to try more of that!!!

Polymer clay rounds. Czech glass faceted rounds. brass findings.

Welcome to the club, Julie, did you read the warning on the polymer clay packages , highly addictive, once you start you don’t know when to stop. Love the polka dots too :D

Thanks everyone!I’m loving the dots too. Making more this week. A girl can never have too many! ;)

Deb, I used high gloss spray. Is it too much shiny? I think eventually I’ll try a matte spray and see if I like that too.

Asia, I must have missed that warning… but I fell for it. I like that I can see nearly immediate results! :)

A little late to the party Julie but I love all of these beads and your techniques. I could use some brown with aqua dots, too, if you are in the mood.
