Suri's Petals

About this design:

I continue with my quest to master kumihimo. This time I integrated seed beads along with the magatama beads. I like the rich a Persian carpet.

Burgundy gold magatama, galvanized blush pink seed beads, JBB copper bead ends, Swarovski Siam crystal bicones, TierraCast copper melody toggle from LB

You are T-A-L-E-N-T-E-D, girl. How long did this take you to make? It’s beautiful, it really is.

@Syd, actually the braiding of it took about 1 hour. It was the prep that takes more time than anything. Setting up the threads with the beads etc. I would say from start to completion…about 2-3 hours.

The only difference between necklace and bracelet is time spent but the weaving part is the same ;) :)

Beautiful work. The photograph is really lovely too with the flower. I do kumihimo and I equate it to painting a house…the prep always takes longer than the painting :-)
