Stainless Necklace

About this design:

This is the stainless steel necklace that goes with the earrings I posted earlier. This necklace was textured with a framing hammer.


16 gauge stainless steel wire, stainless jumpring, framing hammer, zinc clasp.

    Hang this sucker up on a hook though – or you’re gonna have a mess. I really like the 22?, 24? ga. wire you wrapped it with. The contrast wrapping really dresses it up.

    Actually, it wasn’t that hard. It takes pliers, though; it is too tough for hands. It bends a little different than copper, but I seemed to adapt pretty fast to it. Go ahead and try it. I bet you’ll surprise yourself!
