Simplicity in Stone

About this design:

Everything except the turquoise beads, I made myself! I wanted to make something to really showcase the double-drilled Santa Rosa Turquoise piece, and as I started, I thought 'This piece actually looks rather unisex-a man or woman could wear it.' So I kept it simple, wrapping the chain links together without JumpRings, and forged the toggle to look a bit rustic and industrial. It is a short length, so it keeps the 'anyone could wear it' vibe, as well.

Solid Copper Round Wire: 20,18,16,12 gauge; Genuine Turquoise Tube beads; Genuine Santa Rosa Turquoise Double Drilled Large Bead.

Great job. I love the design. I have a double drilled turquoise piece that I don’t know what to do with but you created a really nice design with it.

That turquoise focal speaks for itself, it is stunning and the simplicity of the rest of the necklace lets it take center stage. I really like your clasp too.

Wow..what a cool way to work a double drilled stone. It’s genius! What a lovely work of art. Your work is exceptional. I think that design will get copied.

That is beautiful work (has that already been said? – LOL); I like the wire work chain in place of just ready made chain. I know a man would like it as well as a woman

Oh, I like! So cute! Now I need to try those wire links! I have some double-drilled Sodalite that would work with a design like this, too. You’ve given me an idea! :)
