Heart of the City

About this design:

Petra's Ceramic City Drops along with a couple of her hearts inspired this design. I chose golden pyrite for the color and sparkle and handmade the wire components.

Ceramics by Petra at Scorched Earth on Etsy,Golden Pyrite, LB, Gunmetal Artistic wire, LB, my hands. :)

Thanks! They are definitely rustic-my wirework ended up a little sloppier than I wanted but the ring piece is slippery 18 gauge wire and I had a heckuva time hanging onto it and bending it at the same time. :)

This design was sheer serendipity–the beads were all out together on my work table so when I saw them it was a no brainer.

Asia-I had to ask Petra to make these for me because the others did sell out before I could buy them. She could make you a pair.

Amazing earrings, Becky, and I’m intrigued by the photo with the earrings on a glass looking through a window – - a nice “take” on the name you chose !

Becky, these are great! I like to call them “rustic glam.” The wrapping isn’t sloppy at all. When my wraps are less than perfect, which is all the time,I prefer to think of it as “freeform.” ;) That’s my stoy and I’m stickin to it. LOL
I just knew that was pyrite, and it looks beautiful with Petra’s beads.
Gorgeous work. I also like the pic with the bare tree in the background.Very artistic, and compliments your design.

Just stunning! No sloppy wire work at all, it’s MEANT to be like that, right?! I pity your hands though, being in the materials list (meaning some of them was stuck in the wire, I gues??) LOL!
