Pass The Mustard

About this design:

I fell in love with the new Mustard cork cord and slides at LB, so I just had to order some. Here's the result. Simple, but I love it!

From LB: Mustard cork cord, antique brass and silverplated asst'd. slides, antique brass cord ends. Jumprings and lobsterclaw clasp from HobLob.

Okay – this is something else I’ll have to get used to; they look like dog collars. I don’t know if you ‘older’ gals – back in the ’50′s the REAL dog collar bracelets. They were actual dog collars – with the D ring and a name plate you could engrave a name on. It was about ’55 maybe.
I never bought one; didn’t care for them.

Oh, by the way- you did a very nice job on this; looks better than the ’50′s ones – LOL

Very cool! I bought some of the cork too (Mustard, Saddle and Natural). I’d been eying it on another site, and when LB got it I could no longer resist … “resistance” being “futile” … especially since LB’s prices were better, the other site sells it by the inch … ouch. The other site has some really cool sliders though … LB, maybe you could add more … hummm …. :)

I love how you mixed up the metals here! Very cool bracelet! Is it a double wrap?

Love the mixed metals and I don’t think it looks anything like a dog collar! Cool design!

I am so loving this cork! You’ve created a fabulous piece here and like Wanda said, your mix of metals makes it! I just placed an order and I wanted to get some of this but it was going to get too pricy with all the slides and clasps I would want to go with it.
