Happy Accident

About this design:

This is a copper bracelet which shows what happens when you mess up a tutorial, lol My cohorts in chainmaille told me to just give it a new name, and call it good. It was supposed to be a pattern called "Byzee Beez to Butterflies", but I did it sideways. Oops. It's quite heavy, since it's solid copper.

Copper jump rings, 18ga 5/32"

I think it is a wonderful ‘mistake’! I also like the texture chain maille creates. It seems like very hard work to do in such a tiny space–but love the results. Very nice! :)

Carol, I am so sorry I missed your comment. I got the tutorial from Mailleartisans. I don’t have a tutorial for my mistake, but if you look at their picture vs. mine,I just turned the units sideways.
