Recycled Stringing

About this design:

I absolutely love Lima’s recycled glass!!
After all the work and frustration on the necklace Ninety-one Dalmatians, I knew I needed something simple and easy. What is easier than stringing beads on cording? I had a lot of fun making this one. I’ve been personally working on breaking free from my symmetrical tendencies, but still have a long way to go… I shall press on in my endeavor to do so.

I love Lima’s recycled glass too, and you did a wonderful job with it! Love the color blocking with the little bits of mixture parts. The copper barrels really add a nice touch :)

I really love the colors you used for this and the little bit of shine from the seed beads with the matte of the recycled glass. Well done!

Very nice! The colors are very pretty! Love the seed beads too! I am a confessed seed bead addict! NOW I just need to USE them all! :D Asymmetry definitely takes some getting used to, you have to re-train your brain of sorts! ;) Once you do though, all sorts of new possibilities open up! Good luck in your asymmetrical endeavors! :)

A really successful try at assymetry! Love the recycled glass too! Somehow this piece reminds me of 50′s design, but more in home decorating and china than jewelry perhaps… must be the colors!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone–one day I’ll get it figured out!
Jess, I know what you mean about using up all the seed beads. I have many cases filled with them–I love all the different colors! Yes, I too, need to USE them instead of buying more! :)

This is a great use of recycled glass, huge fan too. The asymmetry is easy once you start doing it more. Seed beads I have so many, yet it seams that I still need more LOL :D

The more I looked at this, the more intriguing it became. Who would think to put gunmetal with the copper. It has an amzing antique jewelry look with the 2 contrasting colors of recycled glass.
