Inspired by Sarajo W

About this design:

Ah,the humble and pretty saucer bead. I love these beads. Was browsing back on the gallery, and remembered Sarajo's choices. Here's mine. As usual, easy and breezy. I usually don't like to mix glass and real stones for some reason, but I'm taking a walk on the wild side. :) I like this simple look. Thanks to Sarajo, back in Jan.

Glass Saucer Beads and SP wires both from Lima,2 or 3mm Iolite rounds from my stash, and ball head pins SS.

Thanks Pam. These are for a dear friend who likes a longer length, but not a lot of razzle dazzle. Wish I could this grade of Iolite in 10MM
    Dream on! LOL

Simple, beautifully so! These will be a go-to favorite for your friend! Really nice (and with a don’t have to sell a kidney kind of price)iolite is so hard to find. And if you find any, let me know! ;)

Such beautiful earrings! I think the glass and stones are great together. I really like the way you showcased them in the first photo. They caught my eye right away. Very strikingly beautiful!

Thanks for the kind words ladies. There’s just something about the shape of the saucer beads.
    They’re just so pretty.

They are definitely made for earrings! And that’s _iolite_ ?? Amazing quality. These certainly are bang-on no-fuss everyday sparkle earrings to lift everyone’s spirits! And don’t mind being taken to a party either… :-)

Ok, now I will have to try this. :) I ended up with some bright pink saucers, don’t know how that happened and didn’t know what to do with them. :) The shape of these earrings, including the long ear wires, is perfect for someone who wants understated elegance. I don’t mix glass with stones either…. something about it being an unholy alliance of natural and manmade, I think… but what a beautiful result!!! Nancy, these are gorgeous! :)

Thanks girls. Becky, that was funny about the unholy alliance. It’s like that thing about beets touching mashed potatoes, and messing them up. Omg,the things I think up. LOL LOL
I am getting a lot of mileage out of these ear wires. :)

I remember those earrings! This is a lovely rendition of them–simple, but very elegant. I’ve always loved those large earwires. Very nice Nancy. (You guys make me chuckle…) :)

These are just so simple & gorgeous. Sometimes, when you have some really pretty, special beads, simple is best. It really highlights them. This is the kind of jewelry I would wear day to day. Except I don’t have pierced ears…
