strange new worlds

About this design:

I had a booth at ConStellation. Our local Sci.Fi. convention. It was great fun. My first time back in two years. I think I did pretty good!

You have been busy! I like the items you had displayed. The quilted wall hanging? in the last picture is beautiful! The necklace with the ceramic frog is different and so pretty.

Thanks Pam! Yes it’s a quilted wall hanging. It sold shortly after I took the picture.

All your work is lovely and the quilt is great. Is the one necklace a diffuser? I love the macrame cord on it and the pendant also. I’m so glad it went well for you! :)

Wow! What a great assortment you have! Love the wall hanging and the frog! Do you happen to know the name of that stitch? I’d like to learn it.

I must apologize, my picture isn’t clear enough, it’s a dragon not a frog.

Gail I sorry I don’t know the name for the knot work. It is six strands and first you make two side by side square knots using three strands each. then one square knot with the four center strands leaving the two out side strands free for seed beads. then repeat.

Lol, I can see the dragon in the original photos now. I guess I must really like frogs! Thanks for the stitch instructions, it doesn’t sound too hard. (Ha!)

I really like frogs also. I like dragons too, obviously. Lol. The stitch is very easy and I love how lacy it looks.
