Black and White Pictures

About this design:

Medieval Momma's Pod of the Day called Photo Phobia inspired me to make this necklace as my remembrance of my photo phobia. Everyone knows my journey of taking pictures. I am still learning and trying to find my groove. My Phobia is getting better but still I am experimenting. Thanks again for all your comments.

Components:

From Lima Beads came the Gaea Film Noir Bundle, the Banded black and white agate, and Toho 6.0 seed beads. The 1.0 mm antique brown leather cord from my stash. The Banded Agate is a gorgeous gemstone - very striking. I hope I captured that in my pictures. Know my pictures can be better.

The main picture looks kind of funky but when you click on it for the close up, the picture is fine. Should I have chosen another picture????

On photos, I remain silent. No experience. However, I really like the piece. I love the Gaea bundle, also the banded agate. I like your use of leather lace and seed beads as spacers. It really works, imho!

This is indeed a beautiful piece! I love the black and white. I also like there is a little room to lengthen it a little. Your pictures look good to me.

Annie, perseverance is the word. Experimenting and continual shooting is also necessary. The new Cannon we bought certainly helps. I would say if I can get good pictures from our group – anybody can. I stared with an old Cannon, a point and shoot, and then out of frustration bought the new cannon. A tripod is necessary at least for me. I have shaky hands! LOL

Love the necklace and the story behind it! Don’t worry about that funky photo thing, it’s just the website. I’ve had it happen too and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it. Your photos are looking good!

Donna, I’ve followed your journey with photography–and you have taught me much thru it! I love that this necklace is a depiction of that journey and symbolizes the progress thru trial & error that you will never forget. Very cool inspiration that has produced a piece that is so cool. The agates are perfect for this black and white ‘photo’ design! :)
