Burnin' Burnin' Love

About this design:

Wanted to combine the dark orange with the light pink. Using light pink as a neutral is done in fashion. What do you think? I apologize because you are going to notice I have been hoarding just a little.

Components:

Patricia Healey copper Spiral with flames, Orange Sodalite nuggets, faceted Carnelian rondelle, Pink Opal rondelle, are all from Lima Beads. Sorry , none of them are still in stock.

Oh this is indeed lovely! I really like pinks with PH copper. I know what you mean about “hoarding” beads. I just discovered a few in my collection no longer in stock either.

Seriously, Donna! You have a GREAT eye for color! I love this! I don’t think any of us can relate to hoarding. ;) My collection is absolutely ridiculous!

Love this design & the stones. I love the astral pink in Swarovski so I love the color combo of pink & orange. Very beautiful, rich, & expensive!!

I love how you paired the carnelian and opal with the Patricia Healey focal. They complement each other so well. This is a beautiful design! :) I would never have thought to put orange and pink together, but it works really well.

I love everything about this piece! I am a huge copper fan and pinks are perfect with copper, at least in my mind. Great job!

Great color choices for the Patricia Healey focal! I also never thought about putting pink with copper–but I love it! Pink is so hard for me to work with, but I’m crazy about the rustic edge it has in this piece. Where did I put my PH focal…….? Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Your comments mean so much to me! I felt the same way when I put this together, I thought the colors did go well. Thank you for verifying that process. The soft pink acts as a neutral. I love Patricia Healey too. Have to buy more. Her Cats are so great and I don’t have cats.

Donna, I love pink and orange together and then to add PH copper makes it divine! I see pink in OH’s copper anyway and love how you pulled it out!

Hurray for the hoarders! We are legion! Aren’t we? There is something to be said for hoarding. When you go through the stash you find beads you haven’t seen in ages and don’t even remember when you got them or why. It is like they are brand new. :)

Love the colors you have used and the pattern in the beads. Fantastic!!!
