Tibetan Life

About this design:

I have wanted to use these Tibetan beads since I bought them. They reflect such a different culture than ours. That is the reason I incorporated the Tree of Life pendant. The beads are so integrate that they don't need much complexity in design in my mind. Thus, the simple design. They are back in stock. Challenge you great minds to use them in a design.

Components:

Tibetan agate beads, Terracast Tree of life , Zola coral and bar chain - all came from Lima Beads. From my stash came the gold beads and the brass JB connecters. I just remembered the bead caps which really match the Tibetan agate beads. Where did I get them? I am not sure! Ha! Almost forgot the bone beads from my stash.

Another great necklace! I love that it is using so many different items. The bone beads look almost like the Czech Glass African bicone beads. I love the Zola chain and the tree of life pendant. It brings all the cultures together.

I just got some of the “bone” bicones. Love their weight. I think you did a nice job mixing the two necklace lengths.

I like the proportions here very much! Actually I like everything. It’s rich and warm and very exotic! And in looking at the other views, I really like the way you handled the mechanics of a double strand. Beautiful piece! Another great photo, too!

Multistrand necklaces are so hard to get right. This one is really pretty. The tree of life is just the right touch.

Donna, I just love the way you combined the Tibetan agate beads with the Czech ivory bicones–Perfect together! I’m with everyone else in liking the cultural feel of this design. The bead caps added to the front focal beads also adds that little extra ‘oomph’ that appeals to me. Beautiful work! :)
