About this design:

My sister is so good to me. When I visit her she takes me to several bead shops in her area. The last time I visited I found this focal bead in a $1 bowl and knew I had to make her a bracelet. She's so patient while I look and look (you know how it is).
She loves blue and doesn't like alot of flash so I decided to use vintage bronze jump rings in my chainmaille weave.

Components:

Jump rings, some sort of agate focal, Czech Glass and 4mm Dumortierite rounds.

What a great sister you are! This is beautiful!! I love how you found the other beads that match it so well. This would not be nearly as pretty with anything other than the vintage bronze. I know what you mean about waiting patiently for you while you scour every nook and cranny of a bead shop. That was my mom’s except, she spent some of the time looking also.

It is a lovely bit of crazy lace agate and was interestingly colored. Makes me itch to cut some more focal pieces myself. The subdued design is lovely in that it plays up the colors in the agate rather than competing with them. overall lovely indeed.

The colour of that focal is gorgeous. I would love to learn how to chain like that.

I really love the design of this bracelet and everything just looks so perfectly balanced. Just lovely and an absolute favourite of mine.

You are a wonderful sister, Kye!

I’ve decided chainmaille is really beautiful. You don’t need tons of beads for a piece like this. And your choice of beads is perfect. They are so pretty. Do you sell your work, Kye?
