Arrow Earrings

About this design:

These lightweight arrow tips are great for finishing off a lariat or bolo necklace made with 1 - 1.5mm cord. Because of their light weight I felt compelled to make them earrings :) All you need are a couple longer headpins, ear wires, 5 minute epoxy and some tiny beads (2mm gemstones or seed beads are perfect).

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1:
Stick your arrow tip into a piece of cardboard or a packing peanut, making sure that it is standing straight up. Mix your epoxy, then dip the head of your headpin into the adhesive and immediately stick in the hole of the arrow tip. String on a few of your beads to stabilize the headpin while it sets. After 5 minutes string on your remaining beads. I waited about an hour before wire wrapping a loop at the top to attach to the ear wire.

What length and diameter eyepin? Which end do you insert? If the point, do you then cut off the other end? What size beads?

Hi Muttsfan. Ali might not see this since it was posted 6 months ago. I understood the directions to say you stick the head into the glue, then arrow tip hole. The beads look about 3-4 mm. If you want exact answers, you can contact customer service. See the link at the top right of the page. Hope this helps.
