Something Different
by Moogie on 03/10/18
About this design:
I decorated these tote bags for my daughters for Christmas. They come with the design printed in black & are made to paint/color & embellish. I used various fabric markers & embellished with Swarovski hotfix flatbacks. They liked them!
I haven’t posted my jewelry creations in a while simply because I have been avoiding photographing anything! I really need to get after it & post in my Etsy shop. No photos + no descriptions = no sales,

kye says:These are so beautiful! I love the colors you used, especially the pop of bright green. I know what you mean about taking photographs. It is easy to put that off. Sometimes I really dread trying to photograph necklaces.

Crystal Canary says:These colorful designs are so eye-catching, especially with the added Swarovski embellishments. You did a fantastic job with the choice of colors–perfect contrasts within. I can’t believe you filled in the color yourself–flawless execution. I would have been outside the lines for sure!

Moogie says:Thanks Limabuddies!
Crystal, it must have been that kindergarten teacher who made me start over because she said my coloring was too sloppy. I couldn’t convince her I was going to clean it up!!

Poms Forever aka Donna says:Moogie, how I love these designs and the colors you choose are just divine. They remind me of stamping a Madalla design on metal. I have tried but have not mastered. I am back my Lima buddies and hope to start posting regularly. Missed you guys.

Poms Forever aka Donna says:Gee, I need to take my time. Does Madala only have one “L”? LOL

Annabel says:Oh wow these are awesome, Moogie! I love tote bags. And those patterns are yummy!
It’s such a good idea for a gift.
Ooohh I wonder if you could do those and embroider them with the teeny little seed beads in matching color? Although I’d end up going blind even trying.
I love the colors and I adore those patterns and the crystals just make them pop. These are totes beautiful bags! Get it? Geeett it?
Yes, that’s right, I’ve had zero sleep for 3 days..

Moogie says:Welcome back Donna!! Missed you. Can’t wait to see some of your creations.
I noticed several of our Limabuddies showed up again. Missed you too, LRC!
Annabel, I hope you get some sleep! I suppose a person who likes to sew seed beads could fill in the spaces with them. But that would not be me!! Although I do want to embroider around cabochons some. I did one trial & it wasn’t too difficult.
BJSue, bring it on:)!!
