Elemental bracelet

About this design:

Designed by request to use a Raku focal. The elements are represented as yellow/gold--Air, red/orange--Fire, blue/turquoise--Water, and green/brown--Earth. I hand picked the seed beads for the mixes. I think over 38 types were used in this bracelet.

raku focal (LB), TierraCast 4 to 1 bead bars (LB), Nunn Design antique copper plated grande jump ring (LB), TierraCast 15 x 9mm lobster in antique copper (LB), Weave Got Maille enamelled jump rings from Treasure Mix (LB), copper jump rings, Heavy 2 x 2 sterling silver jump rings, .019 silver satin softflex (LB), Czech, Matubo, and Toho seed beads.

What beautiful blends of seed beads to reflect the four elements – that must have taken a long time to choose, blend, and string. How fitting that the Raku focal also reflects the “Four”. A favorite for me!

Well done! Love your elemental bracelet! I made an elemental necklace for a young man friend of my oldest son (kind of a challenge) years ago and wish I had taken a picture of it. It was a design that took a bit of thought, but the inspiration was the challenge.

What a delightful piece. I like the varied mix of colors that must of taken a while to stage prior to stringing. Thanks so much for including the picture of the seeds in the muffin tin–great idea. Love seeing useful ideas that others use while creating.
