Chrysocolla and Garnet

About this design:

I have to say I love how this came out. So I kept it & made a matching multiwrap bracelet. It’s made with Powercord, the gems, a gold-plated bail from Tierracast, & seedbeads, gold-plated metal seedbeads, brass wire, blue-green fluorite, amazonite & apatite rounds for the dangles. I don’t have a pic of the bracelet but can show that once I’m home from California.

Oh my Moogie! This is so beautiful and the colors are so you! I can see why you’re keeping it. It’s just wonderful. Can’t wait to see the matching bracelet. :)

This is so beautiful it is otherworldly. I would never have thought to use garnet with chrysocolla, but the results are nothing short of breathtaking. And the bead dangle is a wonderful and interesting focal. It must feel good to put this on. And without need of a clasp, comfortable behind your neck, too! I’m delighted for your great new jewelry set, Moogie! Splendid work! Do please add a pic of the bracelet when you can, for our added pleasure.

Really great photos to get a good sense of the necklace, too, btw. Can see how it wears, moves, how the colors interact, how pliable it is, lots of angles. Just the right amount of information. No extraneous or redundant shots. Thank you.

Moogie, this absolutely beautiful. I can see why you didn’t want to give it up. I can almost picture the bracelet in my mind. Hope to see the real bracelet.

Thanks for sharing these professional photos of this awesome necklace! I especially appreciate your “glamour shot” showing how the gemstones catch the light and produce a powerful interplay of color and texture. Combining garnet and chrysocolla: so creative and clever!

Thanks so much everyone! I did 2 big things that greatly improved my photos. I read about using my IPhone camera & it’s features & I bought a popup white box from Amazon. Then, before the temps got into the near 100’s, I took pics outside under the patio. I edited them & here we are! Thanks for the tips about not shooting in direct sunlight!
I sure appreciate the feedback you give & hope more people will chime in. I take the time to comment on as many designs as I can in an effort to either add a suggestion or just gush on how beautiful it is:). If I don’t comment it’s either I ran out of time or “If you don’t have something good to say, …”. Off soapbox!
