Fairy Garden Lariat

About this design:

I’ve been bitten by the fairy garden bug, and mine is still in the planning stages. But I’ve been longing to use the Czech, seed and lampwork beads that have been accumulating over the years. Using Lima Beads’ Beadalon white fine wire, I strung this lariat, which, to my relief, pleased The Queen of the Meadow Fairy! She suggested wearing this with a simple white linen frock. ( who can argue with a fairy??)

Assorted glass beads, silver plate crimp and cover, Beadalon white fine beading wire.

As usual, I apologies for the photos. Actual photos are much sharper and I thought I loaded them upright. Must be fairy mischief….Anyway, also forgot to include some freshwater pearls in the bead list.

What a pretty Spring-inspired necklace! The colors immediately reminded me of Easter. This would easily go from Spring through Summer. I’m loving lariats. I should make one for myself or “steal” from my Etsy stash!

There you go, Moogie! I’d love to see one of your lariats here!

This is so pretty. You don’t see many pastel necklaces made into lariats. I’ve been wanting to make one too Moogie. Thanks for the inspiration Kathryn.

Thanks so much! I also wa reminded of Easter colors while stringing this and agree it’s mostly a spring theme. Kye, can’t wait to see what you and Moogie can wow us with!
