Hardware Copper and Bones

About this design:

I like to combine metal and bone and/or wood to make jewelry. The copper I chose for this necklace is 1/4 in tubing used to pipe water into ice makers and purchased at Home Depot. I think the bones are from India.

Cutting the copper was quite a challenge. My fingers are not as strong as the once were. I told my son for my next birthday I want a good quality pipe cutter. Doesn't every Mom want a good pipe cutter?

The necklace was made with copper and bones strung on Greek leather. I chose the leather because the of the weight of the bones and the copper might have some sharp edges. The toggle is also pure copper which is getting difficult to find.

Keeping with current trend of political correctness this necklace is not gender specific.
