Black Cats

About this design:

I found these vintage earrings on ebay, so naturally I had to make chains to go with them. The shorter chain is a kinged byzantine pattern, and the longer one is a rosetta.

Components:

vintage earrings, black annodized jump rings, gold plated clasps from Lima Beads

Those are some CATS! Love, love, love them and the chains too. Wish I could do chain maille but I can’t but I sure can admire it and I do. Great color and design.

Cool cats definitely fits these two necklaces. I like that they can be worn together or seperately.

What a fun necklace! The chains kind of remind me of cats claws. Looks hard to do.

Thanks for you kind comments, everyone. I still consider myself an amateur at chainmaile, and the patterns I use aren’t hard-just time consuming.

Using the black jumprings really draws attention to the cats. Creates a wonderful backdrop for those red eyes!

No matter how long I look at this I don’t see cats. There must be something wrong with me. It looks like a fancy dinner jacket and tie to me. Am I crazy or what. Nice necklaces.
