Thank You All....

About this design:

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your encouragement. I didn't actually think I could make a plaid and probably wouldn't have tried. But after several attempts - here it is.

Components:

11/0 seed beads - orange , clear light peachy-orange, red, light blue, translucent matte dark blue

Wowee! Zippity DooDah! Bravo! Your plaid reminds me of a blouse I had and passed down to my mom. We both loved that blouse that now sits in my garage waiting to be donated to Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Thank you all. Robin – I made this necklace using a herringbone stitch because I wanted the beads to lie vertically so I could add the fringe.

Thank you so much. kye and LRC – Thanks for the challenge. Also, just wanted to share a few pics with all of you. My elderflower bush is finishing it’s bloom. Harvested the flowers just in time for some jelly. Elderflower and tahitian vanilla jelly. (It’s not really as dark as the photos – maybe you can see the dark vanilla bean seeds in the jar.

This beaded scarf is remarkable! I can’t believe how you designed & stitched this together so quickly. The colors really highlight the plaid pattern & I really like the placement of the red beads in the design. It must feel wonderfully silky around the neck. Fantastic work Beady! 8O
