A Girl with a Curl on a Unicycle

About this design:

The two discs with a copper shape was another item I uncovered while organizing the chaos. They were an experiment in a type of cold connection I hadn't done since who knows when. I decided to make a pendant with it.

I did a little texturing, curled up a corner, put some crimping on the edges, added a little curl, polished it up and put it on a short section of gold chain. Then I hung it up and just looked at it. Guess you could say this is way out side the box!

Thanks BLE. When my son came to pick up his little dog I showed it to him and told him what it was. He looked at me like I had really gone off the tracks this time. Oh well, I was left unsupervised when I was a child. :D

I like it LRC-how is it held together? Out of the box is always good. That’s where I learn the most. Besides, its in the eye of the beholder!

Thanks Robin. It is held together by little short sections of wire that are flattened on the ends. For some reason I can’t think of the correct name of the technique. Guess I need to look it up in my Funk and Wagnalls. :)

The name is perfect! Don’t you just love what we can uncover when organizing our stash? The unending project of most serious beaders…. :)

Finding forgotten treasure is a good reason to start organizing. You never know what inspiration you’ll find. All 3 of your posts would look great worn together. Love your work and your wonderful sense of humor! :)

Thanks again everyone. It is nice to know I’m not alone finding unexpected treasures when organizing the chaos and other stuff. :)

Robin, the term I was searching for was rivet. All I could think of was brads…not quite the same thing.
