That little red kitty is soooo cute and the flowers are sweet and very dainty looking. What a combination. Of course the spiral seed bead design looks great with either pendant. Some one will have a great time switching between the two. However, if it were up to me I’d choose the kitty every time.

I was “window shopping” on line a short while ago and came across seed beads in sizes I’ve never heard of. There were the normal 6/0, 8/0, and up but they also had 5/0, 4/0, 2/0 and 1/0. Are you familiar with these sizes? I had to check the 1/0 out and found it is 6.5mm in diameter. That is some seed bead! You just never know what you will find when you go window shopping on line. :)

This is incredibly beautiful! I really like that it has two different pendants that go with it perfectly.

Beady, great necklace! I especially like the pink lucite flowers with it. That necklace would also look cute with a Christmas tree or some other Christmas theme pendant. Just love your work!

Thank you all so much. Yes LRC, I have noticed a lot of the different sizes of seed beads and they don’t make much sense. Actually none of it makes sense. The 11/0s are supposed to be 11 beads per inch and the 8/0s 8 per inch and so forth but they all differ so much between brands that you never know. (they even differ within the same brands) I even saw some 20/0s for sale- vintage – too expensive to buy and sooo little.
Any way remember the little kitty is 2 faced.
Yes Robin this would be fun for Christmas – kind of looks like a candy cane.

Just wondering – I don’t think any seed beads are made in the USA… So why would anyone use an inch as a measure?

BLE, Multiple choice answers: It’s tradition. Don’t mess with tradition! If it isn’t broke why fix it? It would cost too much to re-tool. Confusion to the masses! Let sleeping seed beads lie. Who the heck knows? All of the above.

Ha LRC – I guess you’re right. It’s all my fault for trying to think. I will let sleeping beads lie.
