Moonstone Bracelet

About this design:

Wire wrapped bracelet. I spent all night making this with my spoiled dog whining for attention. I found her on the street a couple of years ago, starved, exhausted, in the blasting heat, and she had breast cancer to boot. The vet said if it was malignant she only had 6 months, so I gave her her every wish. A year later it started to grow so we tried one shot at surgery and she's still here today - and still a demanding spoiled diva. Anyway, I am not sure that I like the piece so much but I will let it be seen anyway. If it's a flop, well I will blame Jazz for distracting me every inch of the way, LOL.

16 guage black enameled craft Wire. It's SO hard! 28 guage black craft wire. 1 faceted marquis Moonstone drop. 2 8mm Moonstone rounds. 4 ruby briolettes. Tiny faceted Moonstone beads, about 1mm

KR – I walked away from my computer for a few minutes and when I came back I saw your bracelet. I love it. It really does look like it was hard to make. So intricate – In the photo the moonstone looks like a mountain range. Your work is just beautiful. Love the tiny 1 mm beads for decoration on the bracelet and the clasp. And the swirls are great. (I have a spoiled dog also.)

KR your wirework is amazing! I love the moonstone and the ruby briolettes. My furbaby is spoiled rotten also. But I wouldn’t change her for any price.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love wire work but I can’t do it because of my arthritis. This piece is amazing. Your work is top knotch! I know how it feels to be unsure of your own work, but you needn’t feel a bit badly about your bracelet, it’s gorgeous. Also, I had a rescue dog as well and after 10 years with me she passed, at age 19 yrs, this summer so I know what you mean.

You are all so nice. I watch this guy on YouTube, Matt’s Crazy Art, and he says even if you don’t like your piece someone else will. I guess this one just isn’t my personal style. I was thinking of ripping it apart because I put some of my most expensive beads into it. And that black wire was as hard as fencing wire! I know what you mean Scavenger. My hands are killing me today. Anyway, here’s my buddy Jazz. BLE, your dog is beautiful! All dogs are beautiful. Dolllady and everyone – keep spoiling them.

KR, This bracelet design is so unique don’t even consider taking it apart! The way you have used the wire on the large stone adds a fabulous design element. I admire your courage tackling a design with enameled wire. Great wire work!

Does anyone who has a fur baby not spoil it? Mine has BIG Hair and when I comb him I take out enough hair to knit a new dog. He’s a Collie/Chow mix and a sweet strawberry blond to boot.

I was in such a rush to post my comment I didn’t finish it! I just wanted to say that Jazz looks like a sweet little lady and a perfect companion dog. You can talk to her and complain and she will still adore you. :)

Little Round Chick. Your fur baby is also gorgeous! Looks spoiled LOL Yep, Jazz is with me just about every moment that I am home. Tonight when I got home I couldn’t find her but could hear her whining. She had gotten under the curtains in the dining room window to keep watch and somehow got tangled up and lost in there. She’s so small. Only 7 lbs. So glad she came into my life.

So fun to see everyone’s pups. 7 lbs?! I have cats that weigh much more.
Keep up the great work KR.
