Quiet Soul Bracelet

About this design:

Wire wrapped bracelet. I named it Quiet Soul because that's what happens when you sink into something and no longer need the TV on, or the outside world. No longer do you have to listen to the inner self talk that you spend so much energy trying to argue with all the time. Everything goes away and then the piece just creates itself. Doesn't matter what you had planned. You get something that wants to come out when you reach the silence.

16 and 26 guage craft wire. 1 blue glass crystal. 8 platinum pearls. 28 2mm glass brown pearls.

Ha KR- I know exactly what you mean about not having to listen the inner self talk. Maybe that’s what I really like about beading – it takes up just enough of your brain that you can completely relax.
Your bracelet is gorgeous – I love the way you can see the wirework beneath the cabochon. Your design is so elaborate but fun also. This must have been very hard to do. Love it.

Thanks everyone. Sometimes I do a piece and I like it, and sometimes not. This one reflects what’s in me. I like it. I’d like to do something similar with my Czech glass button. I think I bought it here at Lima, but if not they certainly have them. It wouldn’t fit in this bracelet. BLE, I know you understand what I mean. Your pieces are intricate and take time and attention to all the little stitches and tiny beads. That tends to draw you into a peaceful place. I mentioned on Sarah’s Sleek Bracelet that Sarah is my alter ego. When I am ruminating too much on past garbage, I stop and say, You don’t have to continue processing this. That was Kathleen’s life but you are really Sarah. It’s weird, but it totally works. Thank you Pam, Stingray and BLE, and good night from me and Jazz.

One of the most beautiful and intricate designs I’ve ever seen. Your wire work is amazing!

When I was still able to paint in oils I went through a process similar to the one you described. It was like slowly withdrawing from the world around me. It started with laying out the colors and as I got more into the painting awareness of my surroundings would fade. Off in my own world where time wasn’t important.

What a remarkable piece! It is beautiful how you enhanced the curves & swirls with small pearls. Thanks for reminding me that we need to allow creativity to flow outward instead of trying to fight all the inner talk & chatter in our minds. Great advice! :)
