About this design:

My brother made a resin pendant from shop scraps;I asked if I could wrap it; he gave it to me;I set it to the side for later(day or 2 ago).
Tonight I was gonna play a video-game, but decided I should clean my work-table off first. I moved the pendant, there were only a few pieces left to cut for a side project so I cut those;cleaned the table;looked at the pendant and decided the wire color; put it back on the table and sketched the design; went to put it away and instead pulled tools and wire out.Hmm,yep. (Sorry for the novel)

You do such beautiful work. I love the resin pendant. The wrapping design is so delicate and fancy. And I enjoy the story behind how a piece comes into existence. The novel adds to the enjoyment.

Stingray – This is such a lovely pendant. How big is it?

What a delightful hand-made pendant–I can’t believe your brother made it from scraps! The tortoise effect of the resin with the wood is great. Your wrapping adds to it’s beauty for a wonderful focal element. If you decide to create a necklace with it–please post!!

    BLE- about 2.5″tall × 1.2″wide
CC- if we don’t sell it through the shop I probably will bead it. I’ll try to post if I do.

I love how well the walnut piece’s graining shines through the resin! I love looking at the graining on wood pieces. The whole pendant is wonderful and would be fun to wear. It sounds like your family is crafty like my family was.

Kye- I keep thinking of the tortoise Czech glass.

Tortoise Czech glass is exactly what came to my mind! I found a large bag of it hiding in the back of my beading desk drawer last week and wondered what to create with all those beads. They would make a wonderful match to your pendant. :)

This is very pretty! I’ve often admired the resin and wood pendants. Your delicate wirework is a wonderful treatment of it. Will you put it on a necklace?
